I can’t believe how long it’s been since I last posted an update on here. Sorry folks, but you know how these things are, you always mean to, you are going to get round to it but somehow other things always get in the way. Real life takes over and at this time of year there is always something else to do.

If you read my earlier blog you'll know we replaced the beehives we lost over the winter with a couple of new hives. A coupl eof weeks ago we did the first inspection and added a super to each to give them some space and somewhere to store that all important honey.

I haven’t mentioned what Steph got me for an anniversary present he took the money he would have spent and invested it at Kiva. Kiva is a website that allows you to make a loan to a specific entrepreneur in the developing world and help them to help themselves by empowering them to lift themselves out of poverty.
